TAKSING, 16 Aug: The members of the All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union (AAPSU), led by its general secretary Mato Bui, visited the border area of Taksing in Upper Subansiri district in view of reports of an alleged Chinese incursion. The AAPSU team also celebrated Independence Day in Taksing and hoisted the Indian national flag at Government Upper School, Taksing.

The "AAPSU Taksing Chalo - Bharat Bachao" campaign was kick-started on August 13 from the AAPSU office. The team reached Taksing on August 14 and visited various forward and border areas along the India-China border to understand the ground realities and developments concerning Chinese activities and claims in Arunachal Pradesh.

"The visit reaffirmed AAPSU's commitment to protecting India's territorial integrity, safeguarding the border areas, and standing firmly with the people living in the frontier regions," AAPSU General Secretary Mato Bui informed.
