BOMDILA, 18 May: A five-day adventure and leadership training programme, themed ‘Peak Potential’, began in Wanghoo village in West Kameng district on Monday to nurture leadership qualities and discipline, inculcate the spirit of adventure, and build self-confidence among young students.
The training, an initiative of ace mountaineer Anshu Jamsenpa, is designed to help students explore their true potential and develop the courage and determination needed to face future challenges confidently.
Speaking at the inauguration event, MLA Tseten Chombay lauded the efforts of Jamsenpa and her dedicated team for launching such an initiative for the younger generation.
He stated that such programmes play a vital role in empowering youths, inspiring resilience, and guiding them towards growth and excellence.
The inaugural event was attended by retired brigadier Surendra Prasad, SSB DIG Kamal Kanth, West Kameng SP Dorjee Wangdi Thongon, Bomdila ADC Ashok Tajo, Lt Col Rudra Thapa, and Government College Bomdila Principal Tashi Phuntso. (DIPRO)
