ITANAGAR, 7 Sep: Arunachal Pradesh entered into the final of the Junior Boys' National Football Championship for Dr BC Roy Trophy 2026-27 (Tier 2) after defeating Rajasthan 3-1 in the semifinal at the RK Ashram Ground in Narainpur, Chhattisgarh, on Monday.

Arunachal will face Sports Authority of India (SAI) in the final, slated for 9 September.

Arunachal produced an outstanding performance throughout the championship. The team began its campaign with a remarkable 15-0 victory over Pondicherry. The team continued its strong run with a 2-0 victory over Himachal Pradesh.

Arunachal followed it up with another emphatic 19-0 win over Andhra Pradesh, finishing as the topper to seal a place in the knockout stage.
