PASIGHAT, 31 Aug: Jawaharlal Nehru College (JNC) here in East Siang district organised a retirement programme to honour the illustrious service of Dr Keshav Kumar Jha (associate professor and former head of the zoology department), alongside retiring contingency staff members Kishore Bahadur Chetri and Kumar Bahadur Chetri.

Presiding over the function, JNC Principal Dr Gindu Borang recollected the remarkable journey of Dr Jha, describing him as a true pillar of the institution.

He lauded Dr Jha's dedicated service to the college and society, noting how his mentorship has led numerous students to achieve great success in life.

He also extended congratulations to the retiring contingency staffers, praising them for leading fulfilling lives and successfully nurturing their children to achieve high standards. He wished all retirees good health, happiness, and a renewed life.

Vice Principal Dr Leki Sitang described Dr Jha not only as an exceptional educator but also as a fine leader and a devoted father, qualities visibly reflected in his children's personal and professional successes. He described Dr Jha as a "genuine individual" who took immense pride in his students' accomplishments across various fields.

Dr Sitang expressed deep appreciation for Dr Jha's family, particularly acknowledging his better half for their unwavering love, dedication, and support throughout his professional journey.
