ITANAGAR, 5 Oct: The North Eastern Council (NEC) released a total of Rs 42.63 crore during September to support development projects across the Northeastern region, of which Arunachal Pradesh received Rs 3.40 crore for a nursing hostel at the district hospital in Yingkiong, the Acheso tourism complex in Dibang Valley, and the Ziro Signature View Point.

During the month, the NEC completed 14 major infrastructure projects with a combined value of Rs 45.48 crore across the region, including a girls' hostel (G+1) at JN College, Pasighat in East Siang district, according to an NEC release.
