PASIGHAT, 13 Sep: State BJP president Kaling Moyong on Sunday announced the launch of a month-long 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026' from 17 September to 17 October across the state to mark the completion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years of uninterrupted public service.

Addressing the media here in East Siang district, Moyong said, "This year, in view of the historic milestone of 25 years of public service, the BJP has decided to observe a month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, guided by the mantra 'Jan Seva Hi Prabhu Seva (Service to Humanity is Service to god)'.

Highlighting the 12 major service initiatives under the campaign, Moyong informed that the month-long campaign will reach people across all sections of society through a series of service-oriented programmes, keeping 'seva' at the centre of every activity. In Arunachal Pradesh, the campaign will be implemented across 28 districts, 74 mandals and more than 2,200 booth level committees (BLCs), he said.

Highlighting a sharp political contrast with the period before 2014, Moyong said that the country was frequently associated with reports of scams, corruption and policy paralysis during the Congress-led governments.

"Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has emerged as the world's fifth-largest economy and is moving rapidly towards becoming the third-largest economy. India has also emerged as one of the world's fastest-growing major economies," he said.

Moyong appealed to BJP workers across Arunachal to participate enthusiastically in the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, reach out to every section of society and transform the campaign into a genuine people's movement dedicated to public service.

He emphasised that "the campaign is not merely an organisational programme but an opportunity to strengthen the collective resolve towards Viksit Bharat 2047, and to carry forward the ideals of service, good governance and public welfare."
