BOMDILA, 2 Oct: The training programme for enumerators and supervisors under Thrizino circle in West Kameng district for the National Census 2027commenced at the ADC's conference hall here on Friday.

Addressing the trainees, Thrizino CO-cum-charge officer Tashi Dorjee Bapu briefed them on their roles, responsibilities, and the legal provisions governing the census process. He urged the trainees to strictly follow prescribed procedures and ensure accuracy in data collection.

The Thrizino ADC-cum-sub-divisional census officer also advised the participants to remain attentive and actively engage during the training sessions. Stressing the significance of the national exercise, he urged all trainees to ensure a smooth, efficient, and error-free conduct of Census 2027.

During the programme, field trainers conducted sessions, covering various aspects of census operations, including house listing activities, the self-enumeration process, and the use of the HLO application.

Practical demonstrations and guidance were also provided to equip the trainees with skills required for effective field implementation.

In addition, the enumerators and supervisors were handed over their House listing Block allocation orders by the Thrizino ADC. (DIPRO)
