KHONSA, 17 Oct: Around 300 patients from remote areas were treated during a medical camp conducted at Kothung in Tirap district by the Assam Rifles (AR), in collaboration with the zonal general hospital here on 16 October.

Besides treatment, the medical team, comprising Dr Likha Yazur and Dr Vimoli Tarang, along with AR medical staff and personnel from the battalion headquarters and Noglo company operating base, also provided consultations and created health awareness.

The camp was conducted with the objective of addressing the healthcare needs of the local community by bringing medical services closer to them. (DIPRO)
