ITANAGAR, 17 Jun: The Arunachal Pradesh Amateur Karate-Do Association (APAKA) said in a release that four of its players have been selected to represent India as members of the KIO India national karate team at the 22nd AKF Asian Karate Championship and the 5th AKF Para-Karate Championship 2026, scheduled to be held in Bali, Indonesia from 18 to 21 June.
The selected players are Abab Sangdo, John Sangdo, Khyoda Talik, and Johnny Mangkhiya.
While Abab, John and Khyoda will compete in senior male team kata event, Mangkhiya will compete in senior female individual kumite in the 68 kg and above category, the release said.
