HAWAI, 4 Jun: The official tourism website of Anjaw district, anjawtourism.nic.in, developed by the National Informatics Centre’s district centre, was launched on Thursday by Women & Child Development Minister Dasanglu Pul.
The launch ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner Millo Kojin, SP Anurag Dwivedi, ZPMs, heads of departments, and other district officials.
Addressing the gathering, Pul said that the tourism portal would help showcase Anjaw’s rich natural beauty and cultural heritage to a wider audience. She expressed hope that the initiative would boost tourism, create opportunities for local communities, and contribute to the district’s development.
During the programme, the district informatics officer presented the website and highlighted its key features. The portal provides comprehensive information on tourist destinations, culture, festivals, trekking routes, accommodations, government guesthouses, homestays, and other visitor facilities available in the district.
The website has been developed with the objective of promoting tourism in Anjaw district and showcasing its rich natural beauty, cultural heritage, and tourism potential to a wider audience. (DIPRO)
