Editor,
The recent act of kindness shown by members of the Takam Mising Porin Kébang (TMPK) in rescuing an injured youth from Arunachal Pradesh deserves sincere appreciation from all sections of society.
When 22-year-old Marnya Bogo of West Siang district met with a serious road accident in Lakhimpur, Assam, members of TMPK responded immediately and ensured that he was shifted to hospital for urgent medical care. Their timely intervention reflected humanity, compassion, and a deep sense of responsibility towards fellow Abotani communities.
At a time when misunderstandings and differences sometimes dominate public discourse, such noble actions remind us of the strong bonds that unite our people beyond geographical and administrative boundaries. The Mising and Arunachali communities have shared cultural and ancestral ties for generations, and this gesture has once again strengthened that spirit of brotherhood.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to TMPK, especially the rescuers who came forward without hesitation. Their selfless service is a shining example of how humanity should always prevail over division and misunderstanding.
May this spirit of unity, mutual respect, and brotherhood continue to flourish among all our communities.
