ITANAGAR, 27 Aug: Claiming "non-initiation of any corrective action" by the authorities despite repeated raising of concerns vis-à-vis the prolonged continuation of Nyanu Doji as AE and EE in charge of the Yatdam Electrical Division, the All Arunachal Pradesh Reformed Delinquent Association (AAPRDA) has once again sought the chief minister's urgent intervention into the issue and requested for an independent, time-bound inquiry into the functioning of Yatdam Electrical Division, Changlang.

In a reminder letter addressed to the chief minister on Wednesday, the association appealed to the chief minister's office to direct the competent authority to review the prolonged continuation of Nyanu Doji as an AE and EE in-charge of the Yatdam Electrical Division, particularly in view of the availability of regular and experienced AEs/EEs.

It urged the competent authority to examine the justification for Nyanu Doji's simultaneous responsibility as AE (Elect) in-charge, Khimyang Electrical Subdivision, and asked whether such concentration of responsibilities is administratively and technically appropriate.

The AAPRDA also reiterated its demand seeking the complete status of the pending inquiry which was initiated against Doji a few years back by the then Changlang DC Sunny K Singh, and called for its time-bound conclusion.

It further urged the CM's office to order an independent scrutiny/audit of major works and payments, particularly those under SIDF, maintenance of assets, untied and other schemes executed during the relevant period, including verification of prescribed test-checking and financial procedures.

It also sought early review of the circumstances surrounding the alleged bypassing/withdrawal of the regular AE and the continued absence of an appropriate replacement.
