Editor,
I am writing to express serious concern regarding the reports and information circulating about Chinese activities along the India-China border in Arunachal Pradesh.
Claims are being widely circulated that Chinese forces have entered nearly 60 km into Arunachal. Although such claims have reportedly been denied by the government and the Indian Army, the continued circulation of these reports has created serious concern among citizens. There are also reports and concerns regarding Chinese communication networks and increasing Chinese infrastructure and settlements close to the LAC.
The government should provide clear and timely information to the public, instead of allowing rumours and misinformation to create fear and uncertainty.
I respectfully urge the government of India to:
1. Conduct and publicly communicate a credible verification of the situation along the affected border areas.
2. Strengthen surveillance using satellites, drones and other modern technologies along the LAC.
3. Ensure rapid deployment and adequate infrastructure for the Indian Army and border forces in vulnerable areas.
4. Improve road, telecommunications and essential infrastructure for Indian villages along the border.
5. Investigate reports of foreign mobile-network signals reaching Indian villages and assess whether they create any security or communication risks.
6. Counter misinformation quickly through official channels with verified facts.
7. Maintain continuous monitoring of Chinese military infrastructure and border settlements near Arunachal.
8. Take firm diplomatic, economic and strategic measures wherever verified Chinese activities threaten India's territorial integrity.
National security should not become a matter of political speculation or social media rumours. Citizens deserve accurate information, while India's borders must be protected through strong surveillance, infrastructure, diplomacy and military preparedness.
I request the government to take this matter seriously and provide a transparent update on the actual situation in Arunachal.
Modiji please be active this time. Take some steps instead of making reels.
I wish to volunteer my services to the Indian Army. In the event of a national emergency or wartime conditions, please consider me for immediate induction or civilian volunteer entry. I am physically fit and ready to serve. Jai Hind.
Supriya Indian
