PASIGHAT, 20 Jul: The East Siang district unit of the Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) has expressed profound grief over the demise of East Siang district horticulture officer Ayi Remi Ering, who passed away at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Okhla, New Delhi, after a prolonged illness on 18 July.

She was 55 years old, and is survived by two sisters and three brothers.

Ering had served the Horticulture Department and the Government of Arunachal Pradesh with distinction for more than 32 years. Throughout her illustrious career, she was widely admired for her unwavering dedication, integrity, humility, and compassionate approach towards public service. Her significant contributions to the development of the horticulture sector and the welfare of the farming community have left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire generations, the CoSAAP unit stated in a condolence message.

Describing her demise as an irreparable loss, the unit said that “the state has lost an exemplary officer whose sincerity, commitment, and devotion to duty earned her immense respect across all sections of society.”

On behalf of the entire CoSAAP family, the unit conveyed deepest sympathies to the bereaved family, and prayed that the almighty grants them strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss.

The unit also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
