Editor,

I wish to draw the kind attention of The Arunachal Times towards the pending/withheld results of various TGT (TGTE) subjects conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).

The prolonged wait for the declaration of these results is a matter of concern, particularly because schools across Arunachal Pradesh are facing a shortage of subject teachers. Vacant teaching positions and the shortage of qualified subject teachers can adversely affect the regular academic activities and learning outcomes of students.

The candidates who appeared for the respective TGTE examinations have already invested considerable time and effort in the recruitment process and have been eagerly awaiting the outcome. At the same time, students in government schools are in need of adequate numbers of qualified teachers in different subjects.

In this situation, we humbly appeal to the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission and the concerned authorities to kindly take necessary steps for the early declaration of all pending/withheld TGTE results, subject to the completion of all required formalities and procedures.

The timely completion of the recruitment process would not only provide much-needed clarity to the candidates but would also help the education department address the shortage of subject teachers in schools across the state. We sincerely hope that the concerned authorities will give due consideration to the matter and take appropriate action at the earliest.

Our request is simple: the students of Arunachal Pradesh need teachers and the candidates awaiting their results deserve timely clarity.
