I wish to express concern over the delay in the notification of the shortlisted candidates and interview date for the assistant professor examination 2026 conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.

The examination notification was issued on 22 January, and as per the examination calendar, the interview (viva voce) was expected to be conducted in April. However, it is already mid-May and no notification regarding shortlisted candidates or interview date has been issued so far.

Further confusion arose when the last date for application submission, initially fixed for 23 February, was later extended till 10 March through a notification issued only on 5 March. The unexplained gap between 23 February and 5 March created doubt and anxiety among aspirants, and the continued delay has only added to their concerns.

Therefore, the commission is earnestly requested to clarify the present status of the recruitment process and ensure transparency, fairness, and timely conduct of interviews and examinations to maintain the confidence and trust of aspirants.

A concerned aspirant
