ITANAGAR 24 Jul: Dera Natung Government College (DNGC) here signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NESO Fugensus Pvt Ltdon Friday, partnering with the firm to enhance entrepreneurship, internships, skill development, organic farming, and community outreach while creating better employment opportunities for students.
The MoU was signed by DNGC Principal Dr MQ Khan and NESO Fugensus Pvt Ltd director Nima Sona, in the presence of representatives from both sides. The agreement has been executed for an initial period of five years and may be renewed upon mutual consent. Under the agreement, the two institutions will work together to provide internships, industrial exposure, and project opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The collaboration will also facilitate workshops, seminars, faculty and student exchange programmes, and short-term training courses aimed at enhancing academic and professional competencies.
A key focus of the partnership is the promotion of organic farming, sustainable agricultural practices, and rural entrepreneurship. Through joint initiatives, the college and the company will empower farmers, self-help groups, and rural entrepreneurs by organising awareness programmes, capacity-building activities, and technology transfer initiatives.
The MoU also envisages collaborative research, joint publications, and academic engagements that will encourage innovation and knowledge-sharing between academia and industry.
Both parties have agreed to support entrepreneurship development programmes and provide career guidance to help students become industry-ready.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Khan expressed confidence that the collaboration would bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical industry experience, while opening new avenues for students to develop entrepreneurial skills and contribute meaningfully to society.
Representatives of NESO Fugensus Pvt Ltd highlighted the company’s commitment to promoting sustainable organic agriculture and creating opportunities for youths through innovation, training, and collaborative projects.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen DNGC’s efforts to provide experiential learning opportunities while contributing to Arunachal Pradesh’ vision of sustainable development, organic farming, and youth empowerment. (DIPR)
