PASIGHAT, 20 Aug: H-Spring Foundation celebrated its 3rd foundation day on 19 August at the H-Spring Foundation campus here in East Siang district with enthusiasm and a renewed commitment to promote inclusion, dignity and equal opportunities for children with special needs and their families.
The programme was attended by retired IRS officer Bandhana Deori, District Child Protection Officer M Taku, CDPO Minam Taloh, BRO Col Ashish Raisinghani, and Mirku Head Gaon Bura Obuk Dupak, besides representatives from the Arunachal Pradesh University's social work department, philanthropists, donors, well-wishers, and supporters of the foundation.
Chairperson Dr Oimang Megu delivered a presentation, highlighting the foundation's three-year journey, vision, major initiatives and achievements, and its efforts towards supporting children with special needs and their families.
The celebration also witnessed a colourful cultural programme by the children and lady staff of H-Spring Integrated School. The children showcased their talents through dance, singing and poem recitation, and presented handmade cards and crafts to the dignitaries.
Several dignitaries spoke on the occasion and appreciated the foundation's initiatives towards building an inclusive and supportive environment for children with special needs. Special appreciation was also expressed to the philanthropists and donors whose generous support has helped the foundation sustain and expand its programmes.
As the foundation enters its fourth year, it reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening its programmes, expanding its outreach, and creating a society where every child is valued, supported and provided with opportunities to learn, develop and participate meaningfully. (DIPRO)
