ZIRO, 29 Jun: Hari Sports Club won the 59th Central Dree Football Tournament, defeating Sojang Lapang Sports Club 3-1 in the final played on Sunday.

All Hija Sports Association (AHSA) secured the third place, while the fair play team award went to Zamra FC.

Hage Hari (Hari Sports Club) was declared player of the match. He was also named emerging player of the tournament.

Hage Sarbo (Hari Sports Club) won the player of the tournament award, while Taro Hirung (All Hija SC) became the highest scorer with seven goals in his kitty.

Hage Tayo (Hari SC) was adjudged best goalkeeper and Radhe Vyoda (Sojang Lapang SC) the best defender.

Hage Kemo (Hari Sports Club) and Kago Loder (Zamra FC) were chosen as best coach and best manager, respectively.

Held from 14 to 28 June, the tournament – one of the oldest and most prestigious local football competitions in Arunachal Pradesh – brought together the finest football teams from across Lower Subansiri district, the Central Dree Festival Committee, Ziro said in a release.
