ITANAGAR, 26 Jun: Bomju Riram, a member of the Kamsa Dramatics Society (KDS), has been selected for the prestigious three-year diploma in dramatic arts course at the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi, for the 2026-29academic session.
A native of Basar in Leparada district, Bomju is the daughter of Karbom Riram and Gumbi Riram. “Her selection is an achievement for Arunachal Pradesh and another milestone for the state’s growing theatre movement,” stated a press releasefrom the KDS.
Congratulating Riram on her achievement, the KDS said her success reflects years of dedication, discipline, and perseverance, while reaffirming the society’s commitment to nurturing young creative talent.
Over the years, KDS members have secured admission to premier institutions such as the NSD, Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, Bhartendu Natya Academy, and FTI Arunachal, besides making significant contributions to theatre, cinema, and the performing arts.
