LIKABALI, 23 Jun: The Lower Siang district administration has issued a traffic advisory,informing the general public, commuters, and transport operators that the road stretch from Garu to Likabali, including the ALB road, will remain completely closed to all vehicular traffic from 24 to 26 June due to restoration and maintenance works being undertaken in the interest of public safety and smooth execution of the project.

 The district administration advised all road users to take note of the temporary closure and make necessary travel arrangements accordingly.

However, vehicles engaged in medical emergencies and other essential services may be permitted to pass through the work zone in exceptional circumstances, subject to regulation and clearance by the on-duty traffic and field personnel.

The order has come into immediate effect and shall remain in force for the specified period, unless modified by the competent authority. (DIPRO)
