Tadar Tang Football Tournament begins
ITANAGAR, 30 Aug: Lower Siang got off to a flying start in the 21st Tadar Tang State Level Football Tournament, beating Upper Siang 4-1 in their opening match in Group D in Pasighat in East Siang district on Sunday.
In the second match, host East Siang were held to a 1-1 draw by West Siang.
In Group B, Lower Dibang Valley trounced Pakke-Kessang 4-0 in Tezu, while Kamle registered a 2-0 win over Anjaw.
In Group A, Upper Subansiri defeated Kra Daadi 2-0 in Yupia.
In the second match, Kurung Kumey defeated Papum Pare 5-0.
