No PRT/JT recruitment since 2014

Editor, No regular PRT/JT recruitment has been held in Arunachal Pradesh since 2014. Ten years, zero advertisements. Yet DIETs churn out DElEd graduates every year. Hundreds of us are trained, qualified, and jobless. Batches from 2014-2018 are now overage through no fault of ours. Where are the sanctioned posts? Schools are run by SSA contract

No regular PRT/JT recruitment has been held in Arunachal Pradesh since 2014. Ten years, zero advertisements.

Yet DIETs churn out DElEd graduates every year. Hundreds of us are trained, qualified, and jobless. Batches from 2014-2018 are now overage through no fault of ours.

Where are the sanctioned posts?

Schools are run by SSA contract teachers while children suffer. This violates the RTE Act, 2009.

Why waste public money on DIETs if the government won’t recruit?

We demand:

Advertisement of all vacant PRT/JT posts immediately.
Granting of one-time age relaxation to 2014-2025 DIET batches.
Publishing data on sanctioned vs vacant posts since 2014.

We request the education minister, commissioner, director and the AAPSU president to act now. DIET holders are ready to serve in any corner of the state. Give us a fair chance.
