I would like to draw the attention of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) towards the need for clarity regarding the syllabus of General Studies Paper-I for the APPSCCE mains examination.

The commission introduced a Northeast India-related section in the General Studies Paper-I syllabus for the APPSCCE 2024. However, in the recently published syllabus for APPSCCE 2026, the Northeast section appears to be missing. This has created considerable confusion among aspirants, particularly new aspirants who are beginning their preparation and depend heavily on the officially prescribed syllabus for proper guidance and direction.

A clearly defined and comprehensive syllabus is essential for aspirants to prepare in a focused and systematic manner. For new aspirants especially, clarity regarding the syllabus is crucial to provide them with a proper roadmap and prevent unnecessary confusion during their preparation.

Therefore, in the larger interest of all aspirants, especially new aspirants, it is our humble request to the APPSC to kindly clarify the status of the Northeast India section and publish the complete and updated syllabus for General Studies Paper-I (Mains), including any newly adopted or revised components.

Such timely clarification would greatly assist aspirants, particularly those new to the examination process, by providing a clear roadmap and enabling them to prepare with greater confidence and direction.
