We would like to draw the attention of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and the authorities concerned towards an important issue affecting many deserving candidates.

The APPSC has fixed the detailed application form (DAF) submission period for the TGT recruitment from 23 July to 3 August, 2026. However, several candidates who have passed the BEd final semester examination this year, and others who have recently cleared their back papers and completed the BEd programme, are in need of some more days in acquiring provisional BEd certificates.

Although Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) is making sincere efforts to issue provisional certificates, marksheets, and other necessary documents, the large number of applications means that many candidates may not receive these documents before 3 August.

As a result, deserving candidates who have successfully cleared the APPSC TGT written examination may lose the opportunity to submit their DAF and appear for the viva voce due to circumstances beyond their control.

Therefore, we humbly request the APPSC to kindly consider and extend the DAF submission deadline for a reasonable period, so that candidates can obtain their BEd documents from RGU and complete the application process.

Such a decision would uphold the principles of fairness, equal opportunity, and merit. These candidates have already demonstrated their capability by qualifying the competitive written examination and should not be deprived of the next stage because of unavoidable administrative delays.
