ITANAGAR, 30 Jun: Rajya Sainik Board (RSB) Director, retired air commodore RD Mosabi, called on Governor KT Parnaik at the Lok Bhavan here on Tuesday, and the two held detailed discussions on the various welfare initiatives being undertaken by the RSB for the benefit of ex-servicemen, veer naris, war veterans, and their families across the state.
Mosabi, who is relinquishing his responsibilities as director-cum-secretary of the RSB, briefed the governor on the activities of the board, and highlighted several challenges faced in extending welfare services to veterans and their dependents, particularly in the geographically remote and difficult terrains of Arunachal Pradesh.
He also shared his experiences and insights gained during his tenure in serving the ex-servicemen fraternity of the state.
The governor commended Mosabi for his sincere, dedicated, and selfless service as director-cum-secretary of the RSB. He acknowledged his efforts in strengthening welfare outreach and addressing the concerns of the veteran community with commitment and compassion.
As a mark of appreciation and recognition for his exemplary service, the governor presented Mosabi with the prestigious ‘Land of the Rising Sun’ medallion for excellence, and wished him good health, happiness, and success in his future endeavours. (Lok Bhavan)
