1. Garbage disposal: In my locality there is a huge problem of where to throw the trash, although the garbage truck does come in every alternate day. But still people throw the garbage in the sewer or on the road side, which is later consumed by the strays.

Solution: - Segregation of the waste into degradable and non-degradable.

-Compost pits in the locality, use of color coded bins.

2. Noise Pollution: This is also a major problem in a neighborhood as people cannot get a chance to relax in their own home. It can also create tension between neighborhoods. Late night parties, traffic sounds, construction sounds etc., are the main problems.

Solution: - We need to enforce a quiet hour policy in the locality as a rule.

-Limit use of loudspeakers on events for specific hours and restricting construction activities to daytime.

-Planting trees and shrubs along the roads can help as natural sound barrier.

3. Parking congestion: This is also a very common issue around locality. It can be caused by factors like events, lack of public transportation, or areas growing faster than their infrastructure.

Solution: - We can help by improving public transportation.

-Designing parking zones or permits to manage the flow.

-Shared mobility options can also take off some pressure from parking demand.
