ITANAGAR, 7 Jul: Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Minister Ojing Tasing on Tuesday distributed appointment letters to trained candidates under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) 2.0.
The candidates completed a three-month skill training programme implemented by the Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM) under the Rural Development Department.
“The beneficiaries were trained in a number of trades,like airport terminal operator executive, tourism and hospitality, food and beverage, fashion designing, etc, by the empanelled project implementing agencies at various training centres,” according to a release from the ArSRLM.
The minister, while congratulating the candidates on their achievements, encouraged them to perform their duties with sincerity, dedication and professionalism. He appreciated the efforts of the ArSRLM, the project implementing agencies, training partners and employers.
Following completion of the training, all the candidates have secured employment and have received their appointment letters. They are now prepared to join their respective employers at various locations across the country, including Itanagar, Naharlagun, Karnataka, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Pune, Goa and Jaipur.
The selected candidates will receive an annual CTC ranging from Rs 1,50,000 to Rs 3,36,000, depending on their job roles and employer, the release informed.
