Lucknow, 4 Jun: Delegates from Arunachal Pradesh participating in Yuva Sangam Phase VI experienced an enriching day of learning, cultural exchange, and nation-building activities in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.
The day commenced with a tree plantation programme near Aryabhatt Guest House, emphasising environmental conservation and sustainable development. A major highlight of the day was the visit to the Jan Bhavan, where the delegates met UP Governor Anandiben Patel. The interaction was marked by vibrant cultural performances, including traditional dances and musical presentations by the Arunachal delegation, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the state and reinforcing the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.
The delegates also visited the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, gaining valuable insights into the functioning of the state’s legislative system and exploring the historic Assembly premises.
Later, the participants visited the Regional Science City, where they experienced immersive 3D and SciMax theatre shows, providing an engaging blend of science, technology, and entertainment.
The visit forms part of the Ministry of Education’s Yuva Sangam initiative, aimed at strengthening people-to-people connections and fostering cultural understanding among youths from different regions of the country.
