PASIGHAT, 14 Jul: The Spearhead Gunners of the Indian Army handed over six portable mobile toilets to beneficiaries across Mottum, Sigar and Mebo in East Siang district as part of its community outreach initiative under Operation Sadbhavana on Tuesday.
As part of the initiative, three portable mobile toilets were handed over to Mottum village to improve sanitation facilities for the local community, two portable mobile toilets were handed over to the Government Primary School, Sigar, and another one was handed over for use at the Mebo playground in the presence of the circle officer, senior Army officers, representatives of the civil administration, village authorities, school officials and members of the local community.
The initiative reflects the continued efforts of the Spearhead Division to partner with civil administration and local communities in improving the quality of life in remote areas. (DIPRO)
