LIKABALI, 22 Jun: An awareness programme on the Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurship Development Programme (APEDP 5.0) and a career counselling session were conducted at the Government Higher Secondary School here on Monday as part of the silver jubilee celebration organised by the Jigo-Yego Students’ Union.

The programme was attended by resource persons like PTC Banderdewa DSP Moge Bole, TRIHMS General Surgery Assistant Professor Dr Jarde Karlo,and Lohit DIPRO Nyatum Doke, who interacted with the students and shared insights on career opportunities, professional development, public service, healthcare, media, and leadership.

Representatives from the office of the Lower Siang district planning officer under the Mukhyamantri Viksit Arunachal Fellowship Programme delivered a presentation on the APEDP 5.0. The session covered the programme’s objectives, benefits, eligibility criteria, and application process. Participants were informed that the last date for submission of applications is 20 July.

Informational flyers were also distributed among the attendees.

During the career counselling session, the resource persons encouraged the students to pursue their goals with dedication and discipline, highlighting various career pathways in administration, policing, medicine, media, entrepreneurship, and other professional fields. The interactive session provided the students with an opportunity to seek guidance and clarify their career-related queries.

Over 250 students and youths attended the programme. (DIPRO)
