ITANAGAR, 26 Jul: The Bagang Welfare Society (BWS), Upper Subansiri district, felicitated candidates from the Bagang community who cleared various engineering service exams, the APCS, and other exams during 2025-26.

The examinations for recruitment to these posts were conducted by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission.

Addressing the successful candidates, Daporijo MLA Taniya Soki urged the young achievers to work in the larger interest of the society, the state, and the nation.

“Success in competitive examinations carries a greater responsibility to serve society with honesty, dedication, and selflessness,” he said.

He lauded the BWS for recognising and encouraging the accomplishments of its members.

Arunachal Pradesh State Biodiversity Board Chairman Hawa Bagang encouraged the achievers to discharge their duties with sincerity, commitment, and determination. He said that public service should always be guided by integrity and a strong sense of responsibility towards the welfare of the society, the state, and the nation.

The BWS’ East Kameng unit president Tania Bagang reminded them that securing a government job is not the ultimate measure of success, saying that true success lies in serving the people with humility, compassion, and dedication.

She added that every government officer and employee has a responsibility to contribute meaningfully to society.
