YINGKIONG, 16 Aug: The District Hospital Yingkiong, along with Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) Sub-Centres Simong and Ramsing, has been awarded National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certification.
The NQAS, an initiative of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, aims to improve the quality of healthcare services in public health facilities.
The standards focus on key areas, such as patient rights and satisfaction, quality clinical services, infection prevention and control, safe and clean healthcare environments, availability of medicines and equipment, efficient management and record-keeping, and continuous quality improvement.
The achievement is the culmination of sustained teamwork, hard work and unwavering dedication of the officers, health workers and supporting staff involved throughout the NQAS and LaQshya certification journey.
In recognition of their outstanding contribution and for bringing pride to the institution and the district, the officers and staff associated with the achievement were felicitated during the 80th Independence Day celebration here. [DIPRO]
