ITANAGAR, 9 Jul: In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the Department of Tirap, Changlang and Longding (DoTCL) Affairs has launched a free coaching programme for civil services aspirants from the three districts.

The four-month coaching programme was formally inaugurated here on Thursday by DoTCL Secretary Wayong Khimhun. This is the first time that the department has initiated such a free coaching programme for students from Tirap, Changlang and Longding.

The department has collaborated with Itanagar-based civil services coaching institute, Sarvasya IAS Academy, for the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Khimhun advised the students to make the best use of the opportunity and strive to crack the civil services examination.

“Nothing comes free in life. You all should work hard to achieve success. We have provided a platform, and now the challenge is for you to make the most of it and succeed in life with the guidance of Sarvasya IAS Academy,” the secretary said while addressing the students.

Director of Sarvasya IAS Academy, Rajiv Singh, said the initiative is a challenge for everyone involved in the project, but added that the academy is fully prepared to take it on.

“We will give our best for the students, and we expect the same level of commitment from them. We see this as both a major challenge and an opportunity to contribute to the bright students of Tirap, Changlang and Longding,” Singh said.

He added that the collaboration reinforces the academy’s commitment to bringing top-tier civil services coaching to Arunachal Pradesh.
