TALIHA, 24 Jul: The 77 RCC GREF HQ extended financial assistance and distributed notebooks, pens, and other stationery items to all 284 students of the Government Secondary School (GSS) here in Upper Subansiri district on Friday.

The distribution programme was organised by 77RCC GREF HQ Officer-in-Charge (OC) Akash Routand Taliha Circle Officer (CO) Ama Nungnu.

Speaking on the occasion, GSS Principal (i/c) Tarak Dupit expressed gratitude to the OC and the CO for their thoughtful and generous gesture. He said that the support would greatly motivate the students in their academic pursuits and provide much-needed assistance to economically disadvantaged students.

He further stated that this was the first time that such a large-scale educational donation had been made to the school, making the occasion especially memorable for both the institution and its students.(DIPRO)
