ITANAGAR, 27 May:  Governor K.T Parnaik has extended warm greetings to the people of the state, particularly the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid ul Zuha.

In his message, the Governor said that Eid ul Zuha, also known as Eid al Adha, is a festival of deep spiritual significance. The festival highlights the timeless values of sacrifice, humility, compassion, obedience, and selfless service to humanity, he said.

“Beyond celebrations, Eid ul Zuha inspires brotherhood, mutual respect, generosity, and harmony in society, while encouraging people to share happiness and care for the less fortunate,” the governor said in the message.

He said that India’s strength has always rested in its rich composite culture, unity in diversity, and peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths and traditions. “Festivals such as Eid ul Zuha further reinforce these cherished values and encourage us to work collectively for peace, social harmony, and national integration,” he said.
