TEZU, 25 Jun: Hundreds of people benefitted from various government services provided under both state and central governments’ schemes during a jan kalyan shivir conducted by the Lohit district administration at the Government Secondary School,Yealing, in Sunpura circle on Thursday.

The event was organised to mark the ’12 years of trust, development and public welfare’ by the Narendra Modi government in the country.

Addressing the gathering at the programme, MLA Dr Mohesh Chai urged the residents of Sunpura to take advantage of the central and state sponsored services during the camp. He emphasised that such initiatives are designed to bridge the gaps between the administration and the public.

He further said that, under the present government at the Centre, women, people living below poverty line,and the farmers of the country have benefitted through various central government schemes like PMAY (G), JJM, SBM, and UJJALA. (DIPRO)
