YACHULI, 3 Jun: The Keyi Panyor district administration conducted a mass plantation drive of cosmos flowers on the premises of the district secretariat and near the main gate of the divisional commissioner (West).
The drive aimed to beautify public spaces and promote a greener environment.
Yachuli KVK provided cosmos flower saplings and organic manure for the plantation programme.
DC Shweta Nagarkoti Mehta, who also joined the drive, emphasized the importance of collective efforts in creating cleaner, greener, and more beautiful public spaces, and encouraged continued community participation in environmental conservation activities.
ADC Likha Tejji, assistant commissioner Mumne Borang, government employees, police personnel, political interpreters and members of the Yachuli Market Welfare Committee participated in the plantation drive.
