ITANAGAR, 25 Aug: Nirjuli Cricket Club (NCC) will face Academy for Cricketing Excellence (ACE) in the final of the 6th Arunachal Club T20 Championship.

In the first semifinal, defending champions Nirjuli Cricket Club delivered an all-round performance to defeat Itanagar Cricket Club (ICC) by a huge margin of 147 runs.

After winning the toss, ICC opted to field first, but NCC's batters made full use of the opportunity, piling up an imposing 234/6 in 20 overs.

Dado Tachung produced one of the most explosive knocks of the tournament, smashing 112 runs from just 58 balls. His knock was studded with six fours and ten sixes.

He was supported by Amarjeet Sharma, who blasted 51 from only 20 deliveries, hitting two fours and six sixes. Licha Jhon also contributed a steady 27.

While chasing the target, ICC struggled against a disciplined NCC bowling attack.

Akhilesh Sahani turned the match into a one-sided contest, claiming six wickets for just 25 runs in four overs.

Myendung Singpho added three wickets for 10 runs, while Techi Doria claimed one.

ICC were eventually bowled out for just 87 in 13.2 overs.

Suraj Tayam made 23 run, while Chandan KR Singh and Ankit Gupta contributed 14 and 15, respectively.

In the second semifinal, ACE defeated Donyi Polo Cricket Academy (DPCA) by 32 runs.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat, ACE posted 131 runs, losing all wickets.

ACE found themselves under pressure after losing wickets regularly, but Techi Tiklee provided the crucial late impetus with an unbeaten 38 off 20 balls, including three fours and two sixes.

Pritam Premkant Raj added 14, while Gautam Vijay Kumar and Likha Sonia contributed 17 and 16, respectively.

DPCA's bowlers kept the pressure on, with Mojahid Khan and Yowa Topu taking two wickets each. However, ACE's total proved sufficient on a challenging surface.

Chasing 132, DPCA began positively through Aman Kumar, who scored 23 from 35 balls. Sanoj Panwar also made 23. However, ACE's disciplined bowling attack gradually tightened the grip on the innings.

The star of the bowling effort was Pritam Premkant Raj, who produced a brilliant spell of four wickets for just 14 runs in four overs, including one maiden.

Gautam Vijay Kumar claimed two wickets, while Taying Siyum also impressed with two wickets for only four runs from his two overs.

DPCA eventually finished on 99/9 in 20 overs, handing ACE a hard-fought 32-run victory and a place in the championship final.
