ITANAGAR, 5 Jun: The All Arunachal Pradesh Youth Organisation (AAPYO), along with the All Changlang District Youth Organisation (ACDYO), has submitted a representation to the deputy commissioner of Changlang, seeking cancellation and re-tendering of highway packages awarded to M/s Bhartia Infrastructure Projects Limited (BIPCL) and M/s GRRB Associates (GRRB) under the Miao-Kharsang-Vijaynagar Frontier Highway project.

According to the representation, BIPCL quoted Rs 283.50 crore against an estimated cost of Rs 578.27 crore (approximately 50% below estimate), while GRRB quoted Rs 70.51 crore against an estimated cost of Rs 142.22 crore (approximately 50.42% below estimate).

The AAPYO stated that such exceptionally low bids raise serious concerns regarding quality, timely completion, and overall project execution. The organisation has urged the authorities concerned to review the tender process and take necessary action in the larger public interest.
