YUPIA, 26 Aug: Papum Pare deputy commissioner Mamu Hage reviewed preparations for the Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board (APSSB) Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2026, scheduled to be conducted on 30 August (Sunday), during a meeting here on Wednesday.

The deputy commissioner, who is also the district examination superintendent, took stock of the arrangements with the centre coordinators, centre superintendents and police personnel deployed for the conduct of the examination.

She urged all concerned to ensure strict compliance with the prescribed guidelines and maintain close coordination for the smooth, fair and transparent conduct of the examination.

The DC also appealed to all candidates to strictly adhere to the examination guidelines and cooperate with the examination and security personnel to ensure the smooth, orderly and successful conduct of the examination.

Nodal officer for APSSB examinations Amina Nabam briefed on the preparedness at the examination centres and apprised the members of the arrangements made for the conduct of the examination.

Various aspects, including security arrangements, candidate facilitation, entry and frisking procedures, biometric verification and other logistical requirements, were reviewed during the meeting.

The nodal officer informed that the main gates of the examination centres will open at 8 am and close at 10:30 am, and no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination venue after the stipulated closing time.

She further reiterated that candidates must carry their printed APSSB CGLE 2026 admit card along with the original identity proof specified in the admit card. Biometric details of all candidates will be captured mandatorily at the examination venue, and candidates will have to undergo frisking before being allowed entry.

Nabam further informed that candidates have been advised not to carry bags, wristwatches, mobile phones, IT gadgets, valuables or any other prohibited items to the examination venue. Candidates have also been advised to identify and familiarize themselves with their respective examination centres well in advance to avoid any inconvenience on the day of the examination. (DIPRO)
