PASIGHAT, 21 Jul: Seven-year-old Nobing Milo Perme and his elder sister, 11-year-old Nosi Moomna Perme, secured gold and bronze, respectively, at the 2nd Gorkha National Taekwondo Championship held here in East Siang district from 17 to 19 July.

 Nobing, a Class 2 student of VKV Pasighat, won the gold in the below 20 kg pee-wee category, while his elder sister Nosi, a Class 7 student of Agun Asir Academy, secured bronze in the below 32 kg sub-junior category.

The talented brother-sister duo has consistently excelled in taekwondo competitions over the years,having won gold medals at the 28th Kyorugi and the 10th Poomsae State-Level Taekwondo Championship in 2024, held in Basar, Leparada district.

They continued their impressive performance at the inaugural Eastern Zonal Kyorugi and Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2025. Nosi won a gold medal and Milo a silver medal in their respective weight categories at the championships.

The sibling’s success has been made possible by their parent Merina Osik Perme and Onong Perme.

Sports enthusiasts and well-wishers have congratulated the siblings on their success and expressed confidence that they would continue to make the state proud in future national and international competitions.
