ITANAGAR, 5 Aug: The Arunachal Pradesh Allied and Healthcare Council (APAHC) has cautioned students, parents, and guardians against taking admission in unrecognized, unauthorized, or non-compliant allied and healthcare institutions, stating that qualifications obtained from such institutions may not be considered valid for registration with the APAHC.

In an advisory, the council said it has observed that certain institutions are offering admissions to allied and healthcare courses without obtaining the necessary approvals, recognition, affiliation, infrastructure, faculty, clinical training facilities, and compliance with the provisions of the NCAHP Act, 2021 and the regulations framed.

It stated that mere issuance of a certificate, diploma, degree, or any other qualification by any such institution does not automatically confer eligibility for professional registration.

“Any candidate possessing qualifications from such institutions may be denied registration in the State Register of Allied and Healthcare Professionals, which may adversely affect eligibility for professional practice, employment, higher education, and other related purposes, ” the advisory said.

Students have been advised to verify recognition, approval status, affiliation, and regulatory compliance of the institution(s) before seeking admission.
