NAHARLAGUN, 3 Aug: TNZ EPIQ Cinemas, the premium cinema chain envisioned by Lobsang Tsering and Dooda Ete, on Sunday marked a major milestone with the inauguration of its newest twin-screen multiplex at RD Tower here.
The multiplex was inaugurated by former Rajya Sabha member Nabam Rebia, in the presence of a host of distinguished dignitaries and invited guests.
The new multiplex introduces Qube’s EPIQ immersive premium large format (PLF) with Dolby Atmos®, delivering an unmatched large-screen cinematic experience with immersive sound, advanced projection technology, luxurious seating, and premium guest amenities.
The facility comprises two auditoriums, with a total seating capacity of 359 seats.
The EPIQ auditorium features one of India’s largest cinema screens and the largest EPIQ premium large format screen in Northeast India, establishing a new benchmark for cinema exhibition in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, the promoters said that TNZ EPIQ Cinemas represents their vision of bringing world-class entertainment infrastructure to Arunachal and the Northeast. They expressed confidence that the multiplex would provide audiences with an exceptional movie-going experience while contributing to tourism, employment generation, and growth of the regional entertainment industry.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by public representatives, government officials, business leaders, members of civil society, and invited guests. Following the ceremony, guests were treated to the premiere screening, with the first show commencing at 5:30 pm.
