ZIRO, 9 Sep: The Tribal Artisan Empanelment Mela (TAeM) was organised here in Lower Subansiri district on Wednesday to register local producers with TRIFED, allowing them to market their goods nationwide through exhibition platforms and Tribes India commercial outlets.
The initiative aims to provide tribal artisans with direct access to national and international market avenues while preserving traditional regional craftsmanship.
During the event, artisans were guided through the registration process and instructed to submit required documents and physical product samples.
Around 20 local tribal artisans participated in the mela, showcasing a diverse range of traditional handlooms, handicrafts, and organic agricultural products.
