I, on the behalf of unemployed tourism youths, would like to draw the kind attention of the secretary and the director of tourism, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, towards Order No PERS-40/2/2022/483, dated 15 0ctober, 2025 issued by Department of Personnel.

This order says that every department, including the Tourism Department, must furnish updated vacancies of posts, including the anticipated vacancies, upto December 2026, latest by 31 October, 2025 and submit it to Department of Personnel, so that the vacancies can be advertised by the APPSC.

Recently, the APPSC chairman said that the commission is soon going to advertise vacancies. But we unemployed tourism youths have no update as to whether the post of DTO (tourism) and TIO have been handed over to the APPSC or not.

For many years we have been eagerly waiting for the advertisement of DTO and TIO posts. Many of us are on the verge of becoming overaged.

Therefore, we appeal to the tourism secretary to kindly hand over the vacant posts of DTO and TIO to the APPSC, in accordance with the abovementioned order, if this has not been done yet.
