NAMSAI, 18 Jun: A review meeting with all booth level officers (BLOs) under the Namsai Assembly constituency on the distribution of enumeration forms for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls was held at the deputy commissioner’s conference hall here on Thursday.

During the meeting, the BLOs were instructed to coordinate effectively and ensure smooth implementation of the exercise across their respective polling areas.

Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer CR Khampa, along with the electoral registration officer, briefed the BLOs on the procedures and guidelines for the distribution of enumeration forms, and emphasised the importance of carrying out the exercise efficiently and within the stipulated timeline.

The officers stressed the need for accuracy, transparency, and proper verification during the revision process to ensure that all eligible electors are covered, and that the electoral roll remains updated and error-free. (DIPRO)
