CHAMBANG, 12 Oct: The first in a series of proposed coordination meetings for the preparation of a comprehensive development plan for Chambang SDO headquarters was held at the IB here in Kra Daadi district, under the chairmanship of SDO (i/c) Dr Tadang Rai, on Monday.

The meeting brought together heads of line departments to deliberate on the geo-spatial database generation and preparation of the development plan, an initiative of the Directorate of Town Planning, Urban Affairs Department.

Assistant town planner Nabam Panchami served as the member secretary. The appointed consultant, M/s AR Enterprises, presented the geo-spatial planning framework, highlighting the existing scenario and key aspects of the proposed plan.

Heads of line departments provided suggestions and inputs on existing infrastructure, public services and future development requirements.

These deliberations will contribute to formulating a practical and inclusive plan aligned with Chambang's developmental priorities.

The meeting marked the beginning of a series of consultations aimed at ensuring coordinated, planned and sustainable development of Chambang township. (DIPRO)
