MANCHAL, 19 Sep: The Anjaw Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) conducted a cleanliness programme at the Government Upper Primary School here on Thursday as part of the nationwide swachhta campaign, with the objective of promoting cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation among students and the local community.
A total of 35 participants actively participated in the cleanliness programme, which was attended by Manchal ZPM Alemsi Kri and the GPC, along with school staff, students and KVK staff.
Kri highlighted the importance of cleanliness and personal hygiene in students' daily lives. She encouraged the students to maintain cleanliness in and around the school and develop good sanitation habits.
As part of the programme, essential items such as dustbins, brooms, water filters and other sanitation materials were provided to the school.
