BOMDILA, 31 Jul: A coordination meeting of the MY Bharat District Advisory Committee (MYB-DAC) was held at the deputy commissioner’s office here in West Kameng district on Friday.

Addressing the committee members, District Youth Officer Atit Solangki briefed them on the objectives of the Ministry of Youth Affairs under Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), and highlighted the vital role of youths in nation-building. He informed the members about the MY Bharat platform, and explained how young people can register through the MY Bharat app to access various opportunities, participate in government programmes and policies, and contribute their ideas and suggestions towards community and national development.

During the meeting, the members deliberated on a comprehensive strategy to mobilise and engage youths across the district, including students of educational institutions, as well as out-of-school and dropout youths.

The participants also shared their suggestions and inputs on strengthening youth engagement and expanding the reach of MY Bharat activities across the district.

The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to empowering the youths and fostering greater participation in nation-building initiatives through the MY Bharat platform. (DIPRO)
